All Saints' Sunday School will start up again on September 12th. This year we invite the entire congregation and Community to join us after the 10:00 AM service for a celebratory FIRST DAY PICNIC In addition to the great food off the barbeque there will crafts, games and activities. Election Day is September 14th . The Ladies of All Saints' ECW will again hold their always popular Election Day Bake Sale. Every baker in the parish is encouraged to contribute his/her specialty. Cookies, pies, bars, and sandwiches are good sellers. If you would like contribute your baked goods --- call Martha Cross at 569 9421 or Email jpcross@myfairpoint.net ECW MEETING -- Thursday, September 16th Beginning with a communion service, followed by a light breakfast of fruit, sweet breads and Muffins. After breakfast, there will be a short business meeting and a book review by Mary Williams. ALL women are invited to join us for this and all ECW meetings Owen Christopher Peightell, Grandchild of Donna and Tom Cote Was baptized on Aug 22. It is our tradition to give the newly baptized a "Faith Box" containing notes , children's books ,or small gifts .Please bring any offerings for Owen's box next week On Friday, April 16, All Saints sent it's first email E-News to 131 email addresses . Good news for those waiting for the Pecans (Pi-kahns) to arrive. New Shipment Mascot Pecans from Georgia You can get them at the Church office or the Lord and Tailor Shop -- NEW low price --$8:00 per package. The Men's Bible Study is now meeting EVERY Thursday morning at 7:30 AM (except Holidays)- all are welcome ----Breakfast follows The choir is seeking more singers to join the Choir. They rehearse at 9:00AM on Sunday before the 10:00 AM service. Please note -- We are in need of more volunteers to assist in the duties for our Sunday Services. We need more Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Greeters and Presenters. We have lost many Volunteers and having more folks to draw on would be wonderful. ECW is conducting an on-going collection of items needed by the Welfare Department for babies and their Mothers. Needed are disposable diapers and bath supplies for babies and toiletries and personal hygiene supplies for women. There is a designated basket in the Narthex of the Church for your contributions. We have a basket in the narthex for L.I.F.E. Ministries food Pantry. Dry pasta and sauce, tuna fish, baked beans any style, cereal, tea bags, saltines, etc. are always needed. Items they need more of are all kinds of soups, canned beef stew, etc. Cleaning products, personal items and paper products may not be purchased with food stamps.
